ABOUT LORI

PSYCHOTHERAPIST, MSW-RSW DIRECTOR/FOUNDER

Lori's exploration of treatment modalities that help to heal anxiety and trauma has led her to effective, gold-standard therapies that use bottom up approaches. So often Lori would observe similar emerging patterns no matter the reason for seeking therapy…when difficult things happen our system gets overwhelmed, our brain and bodies get too flooded to process and organize the sensations, emotions, and thoughts! Bottom up approaches access the body and the emotions to help dislodge the ‘stuck’ places. Lori brings confidence in her 23 years of clinical experience, supervision and dedication to refining skills in: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR); Structural Dissociation Parts Work; and IMAGO (therapy for relationships/couples). Other training include: Psychodynamic; Flash Technique (EMDR); and competencies in CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Biofeedback. Her passion to help others understand brain development, as it relates to trauma and attachment, is a hallmark of her facilitation towards healing.
